Community Rules
We’re here for you - our community - first and foremost. But we do ask you to familiarise yourself with our Community Rules to help us ensure this space remains safe, respectful and helpful to everyone. We’re in this together and we aim to foster an environment of integrity, support and mutual respect.
- Keen to see a specific event or location come to fruition? That’s why we’re here! We welcome your suggestions, ideas and enthusiasm with planning our upcoming events. Always feel free to contact us directly to chat. But if you’re interested in organising your own event, we just ask you to organise external events offline to minimise any confusion among our members and to keep a clear pathway for our team to do their thing. As a registered business in the UAE, we also have responsibilities to uphold to our community members, which helps us maintain the quality, care and safety standards you deserve.
- We love watching you grow your business networks, but please, for the love of lamingtons, refrain from promoting your business or other business networks in our general community chat groups. We want to encourage an inclusive community where all members work off the same principles, to make sure that everyone has equal opportunities and a fair-go. If you’re an All-Access member, you can use our dedicated community My Business chat group and our online business directory to promote your business there.
- Unsure of the legality of comments, posts or dialogue within our community? Please DM our founder Sandra directly. We will seek legal advice so we can support you in the best way possible.
- If someone in the community makes you feel uncomfortable, unsafe or disrespected, contact us directly via DM. Here at AWoD we don’t tolerate any form of bullying, harassment, racism or discrimination and we reserve the right to remove any person from our community who is causing harm or discomfort to other members.
- When it comes to privacy, we all want to feel a sense of mutual trust, so we ask that you consider the privacy of your fellow AWoD - just as you would want them to consider yours - and refrain from sharing information, comments and pictures from the WhatsApp Member Chat. Unless you have sought and gained explicit permission from AWoD, please do not share any intellectual property or other information from the Member Hub and What’s App Member Chat.
